"Hi! I am Heidi DeHoyos and I am here on Expert Village to show you how to ice a wedding cake. So I am going to use the first layer and I am going to put icing on top. This is going to help your other layer to stay on tight. You always want to have icing on the middle between layers. Well now that you have your icing here, you want to get just enough to put on top of the cake. I know this may seem a little gloppy, but that is okay. You never want to get crumbs in your icing, so I am going to use the edge here. It is not going to go in the cake because it is stuck on the side. Just get a lot on here, it does not matter how much you use but just enough so that you can spread the top, just spread it all around. It does not have to be perfect because this is the middle layer and it does not matter because they do not see this part. "
