"Now we're moving on to the foundation. It can be a little tricky if you're not used to using powder foundation. You can use this wet or dry. What I'm going to do is I'm actually going to use her actual color foundation. I'm going to use it wet. I dumped a little bit into this dish so I can mix it. I'm going to just use a little bit of a water spray. You can use water from your sink or water from a bottle. I'm using an Evian spray. I'm going to mix right in this dish the water with the powder foundation. That's going to turn it right into a nice little cream or liquid foundation. This is a great little tool. You can use this as a concealer, a foundation. It's kind of all encompassing. I'm just going to blend this all over her face. A little goes a long way. Once you wet this foundation, a little bit goes a long way. You just want to blend it, blend it really, really well. If you need more water, just spray a little bit more water spray or add a little more water to your foundation just so it blends nice. You want it all to be blended, blended really nice. This is going to be look really natural once it's all blended in. It shouldn't look like you're wearing anything. It should just look like you have perfect skin. Look up for me. Like I said, you can use this as a concealer. It's kind of an all in one. I like putting a little bit on the lid just to kind of even everything out. Again, don't forget the neck. Take it a little bit down the neck. Remember once you wet your foundation, it's going to darken a little bit, so make sure you get a color that's really neutral and really close to your natural skin color. Now we're ready to move on to some more powders."

on 12/4/2008 What's the point of using a mineral foundation and then putting water int it!? It looks so much nicer and luminecent when it is applied dry... unless you are using one of those brands that is so dry it feels uncomfortable to apply dry. After searching for the perfect mineral foundations I found one that contains certified organic extracts which help give it a natural creamy feel without feeling oily. It is the perfect blend - no need to ever apply it dry. I wish the person who made this video would say what product they were using so I could avoid it! :P I guess no need, I use Afterglow's Organic Mineral Foundation in Bisque (absolutely perfect!) and Suki Lip and Cheek stain in Opal. Now go enjoy mineral /natural makeup as it should be! This video is just meaningless for high quality mineral cosmetics.
