"Before we start the makeup, you always want to do some skin care. Moisturizer, eye cream, lip conditioner are very important. We just cleansed Tina's skin. We used the cleanser and water. If you don't have water, you can use a baby wipe or makeup remover wipe. Just make sure that your skin is nice and clean and cleansed so you can start out with a fresh pallet. Tina has dryer skin types, so we're going to use a more hydrating moisturizer. You want to apply this all over the face right down onto the neck. Don't forget about the neck. The neck is also very important. Really blend, blend, blend it into the skin. If you have an oilier skin tone, you want to use a moisturizer that's for oilier skin that's oil-free, that's more matte. The look we're doing is more of a glowy look, so I'm using a hydrating moisturizer. I want her skin to look really glowy, dewy, and fresh. Once it's all blended in, you want to put a little bit of eye cream around the eye. I think eye cream is very important, especially when you're using a lot of colors around the eyes for the smoky eye look. A lot of eye makeup tends to seep into the creases and cracks of the eye. You want to use a nice eye cream. It will make everything go on so much smoother. It will make the eye area just stand out. You don't want to put it on top of the eye. You just want to go around the eye area. Lastly, lip conditioner. Lip conditioner is very important because you don't want your lips to look cracked and creasy with your lipstick on top. You want them to look nice and smooth. It just makes them feel better anyway. No one like the feeling of dry chapped lips. If you do your lip conditioner first, by the time you get your lips after all your makeup is done, your lip conditioner will soak into your lips and your lips will feel nice and moisturized. Now we're ready for some foundation."
