"Hi my name is Anton and I’m here on behalf of ExpertVillage.com and today I’m going to be demonstrating powder on the face. Basically what I’m going to do is I’m just going to take a skin tone powder, now this is a combination of a cool and warm tone powder to fit the skin type that I’m working with. And I’m just going to gently apply this all over the face. Now powder is very important, you can use powder by itself, just to have something on the face, a lot of people prefer not to wear foundation and just to wear powder or you can put it on top of foundation to set the foundation to keep it from creasing, to keep it from coming off sooner than you want it to. It’s a great way to seal in that product and keep it on for as long as you need it to stay on. Powder is also great to keep the skin mat and not oily. Powder is a great way to also – like I said you’re keeping the skin mat which also keeps your undertones accurate, so your foundation isn’t going to change color and it’s going to stay with your natural cool tones or warm tones. Now choosing the right powder is just like choosing the right foundation, it has to match your skin tone. You want to find out whether it has that cool tone or that warm tone. If you have more olive tones in your skin or if you have more warm tones in your skin, more reddish pinkish tones, you just want to use a soft powder brush, it’s the best way to apply loose powder; it’s the best way to set your skin.
