  • This tutorial talks about using the address bar. If you need to learn which bar is your address bar, please see the How to Use the Address Bar tutorial here: http://www.ehow.com/video_2269857_use-address-bar.html
  • These instructions are written for Internet Explorer 7, but should work for version 6, and are very similar to Mozilla Firefox and other browsers.
  • Use the address you want for your home page. If you don't want ehow.com (as it shows in the video), then use a different address.

Step1
Internet Explorer 7 Open Internet Explorer 7
Step2
Address Bar Use the Address Bar to browse to the Web site you want for your Home Page.
* Enter the address on the address bar
* Press Enter or click Go (the green arrow)
Step3
Tools > Internet Options On the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
Step4
Internet Options screen Click Use Current, and then click OK.
