"Now it is time to wire our cymbidium. You also want to use a weight for the end of your wire. Like I said, I like to use glass. Mine is the shape of a little moon here. You can use rocks. You can use pretty much anything. If you have like a little lucky charm or even a crystal from a chandelier. You know anything that's going to sparkle and kind of give you the heaviness that you're going to need in order to pull down your orchids once they go into the vase. With your wire, (as I said it comes in many different colors and many different weights) of course, you want to measure this to your vase, like that. I'm going to do like two-fold cause you're going to be twisting the wire. Or another option is like the table you're working on, just measure form end to end. Just wrap it around whatever your going to use. So you want to make sure it's very secure cause you don't want to have to be redoing this. Next, take your pencil and you're going to wrap it around four or five times. Oops, the thing just came off. That's one problem with using a smooth surface is that is does tend to slip off, so you want to make it nice and tight. This gives you a nice little curly cue for interest. Next, you take your cymbidiums, (these are mini cymbidiums) or you can do like regular such as these, but it all depends on the diameter of your vase cause you want to make sure that they'll fit through or you can use like these purple vandas. Just kind of cut them up right there. You'll need about, depending on the size of your vase, this looks like a seven bloom. So next I'll be showing you how to wire your cymbidium actually onto your wire."
