Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Our Mobile Application Software resides on the Mobile Device and thus a "Thick Client". What this means to you is that your field personnel are not dependent on the wireless network to do their job. They continue to use the application and when connection is made, data transfers.

Some solutions are near ready.. 80% out of the box. We customize these solutions to meet your specific needs and you are ready to go.

Some solutions need a unique approach and we start from the ground floor which is understanding your operating processes. In these scenarios, we often do ride-alongs, conduct user group discussions and produce a unique custom solution.

We work with your back office ERP systems to make sure that critical information coming from the device finds its way into the right files in your accounting, inventory and payroll systems.

Integration also makes sure that information that needs to flow to the mobile device (schedules, work orders, etc.) is correctly synchronized, scheduled and delivered properly.
Step2
System ID has been in the barcoding and mobile device business for more than 20 years. We have strong partnerships with industry-leading manufacturers, including Motorola/Symbol, Intermec and Opticon.

While Motorola/Symbol has nearly 4800 partners, System ID is 1 of only 62 "PartnerSelect Business Partners." This placement in the top 1% of the Motorola/Symbol partner group reflects our experience and extensive knowledge of the Motorola/Symbol product line. We are also the longest standing member of the Symbol Advisory Board.

The Motorola/Symbol hand held mobile devices include the MC70, MC50 and MC35.
Step3
System Integration and Services
A successful mobility project requires much more than picking the right software and hardware. System ID wraps needed services and support around the whole process.

During Development
The Solutions Workshop
System ID works with our customers in a day long session to understand the exact deliverables and system interfaces. From this, we create a detailed functional specification. The functional specification, statement of work and final acceptance criteria are finalized and signed off in about 10 days.

System Test
System ID performs a system test at its facility where we match the application software to a simulated version of the customer's back office system prior to going into the field.

Beta Test
System ID accompanies customer mobile workers in 3-5 different live field scenarios and measures the performance of the entire system. The test takes as long as required to successfully meet the final acceptance test agreed to in the Solutions Workshop. After successful completion of the beta test, the mobile project is fully capable of wide scale deployment.
