"Hi, I'm Mark Emiley on behalf of Expert Village. In this next segment, we'll be covering some of the ingredients that we'll be using in this recipe and how they are going to be building up into what we are looking for in this style. Now we are going to go into a little more detail about what each of these individual ingredients are adding to the beer. Pilsner extract will provide a clean, grainy background. Rice extract will lighten body and increase the alcohol. Vienna Malt will contribute a nice light and somewhat sweet flavor but with a very nice hint of bread. Crystal is going to be used in our recipe to provide some nice soft bitterness and also provide a nice mild and spicy flowery aroma. We are going to use Irish Moss to help with our protein coagulation. For yeast we are going to use the Fermentis Saflager S-23 which is going to provide a very nice, clean lager ferment. As a reminder, once again, we are going to go with our own tap water, but preferably we are going to have it chlorine filtered using our Brita filter."
