on 8/2/2008 OK Beer Bong Expert, you pretty much just told us to wait for the foam to go away. To prevent a large amount of foam in you beer bong, pour the beer in SLOWLY along the edge of the funnel. DO NOT just dump it in. There are a few other tricks I use as well. To take care of the foam on top, you can do one of two things. I lick my finger and swirl it around the foam. Of course if the beer bong is for someone else, they might not appreciate that. My husband wipes his finger on his face (by his nose) and then swirls it around in the foam. This works better, but kind of grosses me out. The oils from his face WIPE OUT the foam. Once again, if you are pouring for someone else, they probably would not appreciate that. Thanks Blake for the excellent how to beer bong videos. This was the only one I didn't love.

"Hi! I'm Blake Whitaker for Expert Village. Today I am showing you how to use a beer bong. Now that we have our beer bong already to go and we picked out our beer, we are ready to execute. First thing I am going to do is to make sure that my dial is closed are else we are in for a real messy surprise. Then we just basically hold the funnel upright, grab our glass of beer and dump it in there. As you note there is a considerable amount of foam. The old foam in the beer is from pouring it down there and really the point of the beer bong is to move all the foam up to the top here while allowing gravity to pull all the liquid down close to the valve. This will make for a very smooth drink because we are eliminating chugging any of this foam. So as you see, the foam is slowly rising and changing place with the liquid. When the foam goes all the way up to here and the liquid has moved all the way down to here, we are ready to drink out of the beer bong. "
