" Hi! My name is Arturo Nelson, we’re here in Miami at Aqa Sports Training Center you can find more information about our website www.aqasports.com, here you will find a lot about water skiing and weight boarding. One of the main things to enjoy more and get more time on the water is how to grab the handle, a lot of people try to grab it really hard and they think that if they let go a little bit they’re going to loose it but that will make it more tired on your forearms and that’ll probably make it really, really hurt the next day on your back and all your muscles. You should try to grab the handle as easy and as light as possible, I recommend for beginners to grab the rope like this…this will give you more balance and this will make you relax your arms especially in your forearms. So once you’re in the water try to relax your arms, think of your arms as part of the rope, relax them and try to get a grip almost only with your fingers this will allow the boat to do the work rather than you trying to fight the rope and trying to fight the boat to stand up. You should always let the boat do the work and let your big muscles that are in your back, muscles do the work, let’s have fun and enjoy this part."
