Step 1
First learn what a behavioral interview is and why some employers opt to use this method instead of the traditional type interview.
-
Step 2
Try googling sample behavioral interview questions. Write down a few.
-
Step 3
Jot down on a piece of paper facts about your work history. How you work with coworkers or your supervisors. Are you a multi-tasker? Do you work better alone, or with a team. Also jot down any projects, large or small you've done in the past. Be specific about them. Step by step go through the process of how you handled the workload.
-
Step 4
Now that you've compiled some information about you, try to answer some of the questions that you've found.
-
Step 5
Lastly, remember to think about the question and relay a personal work experience when answering. The employer wants to know about situations in your previous working experience, how you handled the situations and what the end results were.
