Open Protectrix and Install the 9V Battery

Learn Button on Garage Door OpenerPress the Learn Button on your Garage Door Opener.
Usually it's on the back of your garage door opener, although it may be under the light cover on some models. The Learn button is usually Red, Purple or Black but could be other colors. -
Step 4
Test Button on ProtectrixPress The Test Switch on the Front of Protectrix.
Your garage door light should turn on or blink.
You can press the Test Switch again to ensure
you garage door opens and/or closes each time the test switch is pressed -
Step 5
Mount Back of Protectrix to Inside of Garage DoorRemove the front from Protectrix and mount the back panel of Protectrix to the inside of your garage door. Use the included screws and double sided foam tape.
You want to mount Protectrix on an upper panel and level with the floor, do not rotate. -
Step 6
Replace Front to BackReattach the front of Protectrix to the back panel which was mounted to the garage door.
Be careful not to reattach upside-down. -
Step 7
Adjust Delay Timer to Prefered Delay TimeAdjust the Delay Time on the front of Protectrix to the desired amount of time desired to wait before the garage door closes. Timer options are 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours and off or disabled.
