Word has developed a series of shortcuts to more quickly perform a task or open a dialogue box through keystrokes rather than having to go through menus. To see a listing of Word-created shortcuts, check out the following steps.

Step1
Tools/Macro Menu Tools/Macro Menu Click on Tools in the top menu bar, point to Macro, and then Macros. The Macro dialogue box will appear.

Macro Name Macro Name On the Macro dialogue box, from the listing of macro names, scroll down to select “ListCommands”, or start typing “list” in the name box to select it.

Macro In Macro In Now, click the down arrow of the box next to “Macros in”, and then click on “Word Commands.”

Run Button Run Button Click Run and the List Commands dialogue box will appear.
Step5
List Command Box List Command Box On the List Commands dialogue box, keep the default setting of “Current menu and keyboard settings.” Click OK, and a listing of all Word shortcuts will display in a new document.
