"Ok, before we start gluing the chair together, this is a good time to clean the dirt off the parts because later when we put this chair together, we're going to wax it and it will have to be clean anyway, so it?s a little bit easier to clean it while its apart. I use a common mechanics hand cleaner, the creamy type, not with the grit in it and just clean the chair?a lot of dirt. Be careful not to mess up your labels when you're doing this. And just give it a wipe down. See, already it looks a lot better, doesn't it? Ok and you'll want to do that to all of the parts and then we'll be ready to start gluing it together."
