"See all that dirt and old glue coming off. We'll do the same thing to the other side. Sometimes you'll need to take a smaller tool like a little screwdriver like this will work and get down in that slot. It?s important that you get as much of the old glue off as you can because anywhere that there is old glue, the new glue will not stick. You don't have to get every molecule, but you do have to have a pretty good expanse of clean wood. Get the dirt out and everything and we're ready to clamp it. Make sure that you're clamping the seat together the correct way. You'd be surprised how many people glue a chair together this way."
