How to Label the Parts of an Old Chair Pt 2

"Ok, our next step is going to be to label all the parts of the chair. This is an extremely important part of this process because if you don't label them, later when the chair is in pieces, you're going to get confused about what goes where. As you can see, all these spindles look alike, but they're not alike in the way they join into the parts of the chair. So each spindle has to go back where it was to begin with. What we do is take a roll of masking tape and write on it. As you can see, this chair is already labeled. Write on the tape right front, left front, these are the front legs. These spindles are labeled front one and front two going from top to bottom and all labeling is going to be done as you stand in front of the chair and look at it. Now what I like to do is put my labels to the right side so that now I know this spindle is the front spindle on top and this is on the right side."
