If you decide to self publish… self-publishing, even though it’s a lot of hard work, and many, many details, and does cost you money, is gaining in popularity. I have a student who just wrote this book. Dan Pointer…this is called The Self-Publishing Manual, and he has a website and he give away the store; he’ll tell you anything. He is absolutely the guru of self-publishing. In the back of his book is a list of things to do. Six months before publication date, you do this; five months and two weeks, you do this; four months, you do this, all the way to the end. It’s very detailed, very specific, and she did every single thing on the list in the order and she has a self-published book, and it’s wonderful and I’m so proud of her because she is one of my students.
