"Hi! I am Carl Shepard with expertvillage.com, we are talking about how you tune your bass today. Tuners usually look like this. There are a variety of tuners that you can buy, here is the on switch for this one, so you just turn it on, and typically any tuner that you buy will automatically pick up your string for you and be able to read which note it is supposed to be, so if I am trying to tune my E string, I just pluck the string, wait for the tuner to come up and then try and match it up with the green light if it is below here on the flat symbol it means you need to tighten it up, if it is above it is sharp and you need to loosen it, so that one is on the green light, it is pretty close and you always want to look for the letter here in the corner and make sure that it says E for the E string and then A for the A string and so on, so let me do the A string here, G sharp right now, so I need to tighten that up and there it gets closer and closer to the green light and once it is matched up, you’re good to go."
