"In this example, I am going to show you using three cords in the key of A, A, D and E. And what we are going to do here to begin with, is start again on the fifth fret, the A five cord. Play the D and then on the same strings of the A and D strings, sliding up to the seventh fret and the ninth fret and playing E. What I am going to show you here is using the same shuffle used on each cords. The very basic rhythm. And what I did there was, I played A twice. Then D twice. And went to E for one. Then the eleventh and twelfth fret and back to D for one and then back to A. That is yet another variation in playing a basic blues rhythm in A. "
