    "In this variation of playing E blues, I'm going to show you where you're actually kind of moving backwards as opposed to a typical forward blues rhythm or shuffle. And I'll demonstrate this for you now. What I'm going to do is start with my E chord, playing it twice and then instead of moving in a forward motion, I'm going to move in a backward motion. So what I'm going to do here is go. So basically broken down, that's E to D on the A string, fifth fret coming back to the root note of E and going to C sharp. B and then back to E. So basically what I'm doing here is. And that's incorporating more of a backwards kind of playing to your rhythm."
