"I'm going to show you another variation of an E blues rhythm that again is showing more picking as opposed to actual rhythm playing and basically staying on the E and the A strings and I'm going to show it to you slowly. I'd like to demonstrate it for you now. What I'm going to play here is starting with the E cords, second fret of course and what I'm going to do here is go. And the different on this one here is I'm picking more on the A string and using the B note basically as my tonic or root note even though its still in the key of E and essentially what I'm doing here is playing E twice. In the third fret, fourth fret. And going to B and then going to C sharp. D, C sharp and B. And what it sounds like is here. Coming back to E. So up to speed what it sounds like is. And that's yet another variation of adding a little more picking to your blues rhythm playing."
