"Hi! I'm Louis Ortiz on behalf of Expert Village and today we are showing you how to fry some zucchini. The previous video we showed you the breading procedure. I've got that final breading procedure done. We played close attention not to touch them so that the breading would actually stay on the food. So my fryer is ready and I've got it about 360 so we are going to go ahead and pop the lid open on this. Gently, we are going to pull these out of here and just place them into the basket gently so that the breading doesn't fall off and it will stay intact throughout the frying procedure here. Because they are vegetables obviously, it is not going to take a whole lot of cook time. It's a fresh vegetable obviously and haven't been frozen like frozen French fries and things of that nature. So we really won't take that long. All right, so we lay that out separate from each other so once they are submerged into the oil, they will separate and float around so that they will cook evenly. I will go ahead and drop those in. A good nice sizzle from the very beginning. That is how we know that the oil is hot enough to cook in. You want to make sure that your oil is at the optimum temperature before your food is dropped into it so it starts to cook immediately. You don't want a low temperature oil because it elongates the cooking time and it also allows oil to seep into the food which is not what we want. So we will come back in a couple of minutes and show you what the finished product looks like."
