" Hi! I’m Jim McKelvey with Third Degree Glass Factory in St. Louis. You can check us out on the web at www.stlglass.com. Today, we’re going to learn about glassblowing for expertvillage.com. So now that I’ve got my color on the outside of the piece, I’m going to marver in the outside. Now, a lot of beginners, at this point, would want to block this piece because they like using the blocks. Blocks aren’t any good if you’ve got frit the outside. All you’ll do is scar up the blocks and put a lot of junk on your piece, so I’m going to marver until this is even, and then if I want to I can block. But in the case of this piece, we’re not going to do any of that. We’re just going to put in our color and even it up on the marver. "
