"This is Kate and I'm here giving you some tips on how to buy and sell on eBay. Whenever you are putting it on auction you can also put a buy it now price. So if someone really wants that item right now then they can pay your set price. Which you need to make you know higher than your starting price. But also you can select the direction that you would like your auction to go. You can go one day which is good for event tickets and things like that. 3 days, 5 days, or 7 days those are no extra for any of that. If you go 10 days they are going to charge an extra 40 cents to list it for 10 days. I typically do 5 or 7, it gives a little bit more exposure because your item will show up if they sort it by newly listed items. We get a lot of watchers or people looking at the items. Especially on the first day posted and the last day to end. You also go down and select your payment methods; pay pal is the most popular one it is very secure, I feel. Like I said make sure you sign up for pay pal before you list your first item because you want to make sure once it is completed that you are ready to go on pay pal. Because sometimes pay pal normally takes 3-4 days but normally it takes longer then that depending on what issues you may have with your bank excepting the pay pal deposits."
