"Another great exercise is making a wave. Bringing your hand across and making the wave round, up, and over. You have to use both hands trying to get the action on that weaker left hand. Presenting some of the forms, flat is very important. Being very flat and then pushing your knuckles down. Then rounding those knuckles up, and that's how the wave is created. Curving down with your knuckles, up and round, curving down, up and round. We go flat. When I pull my fingers up, I call this the daisy. When I'm taking it round, I call this the grapefruit because I'm feeling a round large size. Making the wave is daisy, grapefruit, daisy, grapefruit, daisy, grapefruit. Other side. Daisy, grapefruit, daisy, grapefruit, daisy, grapefruit. Then I have to just exercise those fingers."
