"Hi, I'm Tom Shean and today on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to install a metal roof. This produces the most universal and efficient method while providing good and long term performance. Panels are cut to provide a 1/2 inch of clearance around the pipe to allow for movement. Cut the flashing one size under the pipe diameter. The flashing can then be form fitted and set in a solid bed of allmet caulking. It can then be stitch screwed to the panel maximum 2 inches on center. The panel is cut to fit over the stack, again allowing for movement. A standard neoprene or a metal jack flashing is then placed over. A short piece of panel is cut with a slightly larger hole to counter flash a jack flashing. The next course of panel can now be laid through. For aesthetic purposes we recommend painting or coating the exposed stack end flashes."
