"Hi, I'm Tom Shean and today on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to install a metal roof. Place the two pieces of vented top row so the base measurement is approximately 4 1/2 inches in chalk line for position. Stitch screw the two pieces of vented top row together with one screw per link per side. Secure the vented top row to the panel with screws at the high portions of the tile. A beat of cocking should be used to bed the joints. The barrel cap trims can now be fastened to the vented top roll in the normal fashion. Please ensure that ample clearance is available under the caps for ventilation. Additionally in high wind areas ridge form closures should be installed under the vented top row. Bend and cut the last course of tile to leave a minimum 1 inch gap and 1/2 inch up stand centered on the ridge. Place the VersaVent down each side of the ridge over the tile with the shake cap or crown cap placed over. Fasten the cap on each side down into the tiles in 1 inch strapping, do not over tighten."
