Determine the Carat of a Diamonds

"Hi, this is Rishabh Jain on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip I will show you how to know the Carat of a diamond. Now, what is Carat of a diamond? It is the weight of a diamond. The weight of a diamond is not being measured in terms of grams, kilograms or pounds. It is being weight in carats and cents. Now, here when we come to this design. Okay, I will tell you about the weights. One gram is equal to five carats. Carats that is ct. And one carat is equal to 100 cents. Now if you go the other way around. One cent is equal to 0.01 carats. Now here we have three designs. The first design is the smallest one and as you can see it is the smallest one. It is the diamond with lesser weight. This piece, okay these are not the original sizes of the diamonds, but if you see this diamond, this is around ten cents. We can take it as a ten cent piece but if actually you see this piece this will be around two or three carats but it's on the board it's just to explain to you. This is, if we take it as around ten cents this one will be around one carat. And in comparison of these pieces this one will be the most expensive one and will be around two or two and a half carats."
