There are 56 facets in a diamond. To make it a perfect diamond, a very good quality of diamond, each facet should be proportionate to the other facet. Now, I will explain to you the different aspects of a diamond. Here, these are known as the facets of a diamond. And these are also the facets of a diamond. This is the table of a diamond and here the table is shown this way. This is the crown of a diamond. And this kind of line you are seeing is the girdle of a diamond. Now from here to the culet is known as pavilion. And this point at the end is known as "culet." The table should be around 55 to 57% and the crown should be around 17%; that is around 35.5 degrees. Now when we come to the girdle, it should be from medium to ten. As the thickness increases, the price is also affected. So to buy the best thing, to buy the best cut, you should have girdle thickness. You should have this amount of thickness that is medium or ten. And when we come to the culet, it should be pointed. There are different kinds of culet. Like one is pointed; one is chipped. Chipped is in which the culet is not so pointed. You can see a slight chip on the culet.
