In cut we basically look for the make of the diamond. Better the make better the prices for the diamond. Second is color of the diamond. Color is the shade of the diamond. There are different kinds of colors in a diamond. Third comes the clarity of the diamond. Clarity of the inclusion of the diamond, which are to be looked before buying a perfect piece. Then comes the carat of the diamond. The carat of the diamond is basically the rate of the diamond. As the rate increases the price also increases. on 8/14/2009 Something that I didn't realize when I first started shopping for diamonds is that you actually can't determine what a diamond's 4 Cs are without having it evaluated in a laboratory. So it's really important that you buy a diamond with a GIA diamond grading report that details the quality of the stone. That way you know what you're buying and you can be sure you're getting exactly what you pay for!
