"Welcome to the Gundel Winery. I am here on behalf of Expert Village. I am Zsalt Kalman, representing Gundel Winery since 1998. This is a quite big cellar. We can age 4,500 hectoliters of wine here in wooden barrels. We only use oak barrels here. 225, 300 and 500 liter barrels. We use the Hungarian type of barrels that you can see here. The shape of the barrel is different from the French barracks. But this is the Hungarian type of barracks here what we use. The specialty of the cellar is the humidity and also the temperature. The humidity is very high and maybe the camera will give it back a little bit because you can see a little foggy atmosphere in the cellar. And also the temperature is exactly 11 Celsius degrees all year long. We are now about 7, 8 meters below the surface. The aging takes place here. Usually the dry white wines need from five to sixteen months is depending on the type, depending on the style of the wine that you want to create. We usually age our wines from eight to ten months in wooden barrels. First we start with oak barrels."
