"Hello everyone. My name is Matt Fuller. This is Denise Bennet, my partner. We are the proud facilitators of the Light and Love Cafe. We are here on behalf of the Expert Village. Good morning everyone. We're going to be doing some raw food preparation today. Denise is going to be making one of here famous raw pies and if that sounds a little strange to you, it did to me about five months ago as well. Raw food is a very special style of eating or a very special food in the fact that it is just straight out of nature just as it is intended including fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. We choose not to heat anything above one hundred ten, one hundred fifteen degrees, and that is because there are live enzymes in here that our bodies love and they help us to stay extremely healthy and just feel wonderful on the inside. There are vitamins and minerals that are in the food as well. Those are a little less sensitive to the heat, but we like them all, vitamins, minerals, and the living enzymes. So, she's going to be making a raw pie today. What that means is that actually that nothing in this pie is heated above one hundred and fifteen degrees. You may be wondering how that's possible. Well, she's going to show you and it's impressive, it looks beautiful, and the flavor is just tremendous. There are no dairy products in this, there are no eggs, and no animal products. It's just a wonderful experience."
