"Hello everyone. My name is Matt Fuller and this is Denise Bennet, my partner. We are the proud facilitators of the Light and Love Cafe. We are here on behalf of the Expert Village. Good morning everyone. Just want to let you know we are going to be doing some raw food preparation today. We are going to be making three or four dishes. I just want to let you know a little bit about raw food if you're not familiar with it. Basically what that means is food that comes from nature just as it is intended. This does include vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds. We do want to let you know that anytime food is heated over approximately one hundred ten to one hundred fifteen degrees it is no longer considered raw. The reason is that there are living enzymes that are vitally used by the body that are killed at that temperature. Granted, you do have some vitamins and minerals that do remain in the food at higher temperatures than that but we have found from our experience that these live enzymes are extremely important for our bodily functions and they make us feel great. Now, I'm going to turn it over to Denise. She's going to be making a wonderful dish for you and I will let her talk about that."
