"MIKE ROSENGART: Hi, guys. Welcome to athletic training for performance: Bringing it to a higher level. My name is Mike Rosengart and I'm your host for expertvillage.com. I've been a personal trainer for over seven years. I worked in New York, London and now, here in Los Angeles. And we're here at Petranek Fitness in Santa Monica, California to bring you four amazing workouts. Now, our workouts are going to be for athletic training and performance but also just for health and fitness as well too, okay? With me are joined, Ryan Regensburg, personal trainer and also Jonesy, personal trainer. Jonesy, would you like to say something about yourself? JONESY: Hi, I'm Jonesy. I am a personal trainer here in Sta. Monica, California as well. I have been training nearly half of my life, but not more than half of my life as an athlete and now just for life. Today, we're going to go through a workout that starts with some very basic movements that can be very complex and intense. MIKE ROSENGART: And Ryan, are you ready for this? You want to tell the camera and everyone a little bit about yourself? RYAN REGENSBURG: My name is Ryan Regensburg, I'm 27 years old. I'm a trainer also here in Santa Monica, California. MIKE ROSENGART: Ryan is also coming from an athletic background too in college and high school. And so, that's where we came up the concept of our show, athletic training for performance, 'cause we love to perform. But this show is not just about athletic training and performance, it's also about health and fitness. So, come with us, enjoy our workouts."
