"One of the great things about partner yoga is you can combine poses together so that you can help your partner come in to a deeper stretch. Willy and I are going to demonstrate two of those poses. I'm going to demonstrate Halasana, the plow pose and Willy's going to demonstrate the seated Dandasana, staff pose. The Halasana pose is really good for your back and your abdominals and it works the thymus gland so that your chin is into the thymus, stimulating that gland and stimulating that immune system. So its really good pose also for Willy's back and he's going to have a little problem with his hamstrings cause he has tight hamstrings. But all you have to do for that is bend your knees to adjust that. So I'm going to come on my back and extend my legs up in the air, and then press into my hand and lift myself over into the plow pose. So notice how my chin is pressing to the thymus gland, stimulating those glands. I'm going to lift my hips up to lengthen through my spine. Willy's going to turn his back towards me and bring his back in close next to my back to help me come in to this pose deeper. He's going to extend his feet long and flex his toes back towards his knees. So by Willy coming into the Dandasana Pose, Staff Pose, he gets to work his spine and his abdominals and I also get to work my back, the thymus gland and my abdominals."
