"The best way to start any yoga practice is through centering and connecting particularly with your partner in partner yoga. So this is Gina, she is going to be my partner today and we're going to turn facing each other in any seated comfortable position. You just want to be comfortable and you want to lengthen your spine. Shoulders are going to go back and your chest and heart is going to be lifted. Now we're just going to be touching our knees together. We are going to bring our hands into a mudra called Angelo mudra. A mudra is a seal. In this particular energy seal is prayer hands and it's going to allow s to connect to each other with each other's breath and just focus on each other's breath. So we're going to close our eyes, gently inhaling, breathing and lengthening your spine long and exhaling drawing energy into the center of your heart and centering your body. Just trying to bring your breath in connection with your partner's breath trying to make the inhale the same length of time as your partner as well as the exhale, the same length of time as your partner."
