"This is Lauren on behalf of Expert Village and we are going to talk a little bit about letting your Chinchilla out to play. It is recommended that you get a wheel for your Chinchilla so they can exercise on their own. Be sure it doesn't have any wire that their feet can get caught up in. There are two different styles that you can get. You can get the solid ones or you can get the ones like we have in here which are the exersaucers. In addition to that, we recommend that you do let your Chinchilla out in a secure area. Make sure that there are not any loose wires that they an choose on or if you put them in the bathroom, make sure that you shut the toilet lid because they can jump in and they have been known to drown. When it comes time to let your Chinchilla out to play, just gently scoop her up and this room is actually secure for us she can't go around anywhere and so typically just let them down and let them run around, explore and have fun. If they are bonded to you, they will actually come back and come looking for you and jump up on our knee and your shoulder and then run off again. She kind of knows her way around here. There are a couple of different ways to catch them, when you want to catch them. You can either go up and scoop them on your hands if they will let you do that. Otherwise if it is difficult to catch them, I always recommend taking their dust bath and setting that out and kind of shooing them inside because they will want to jump in there and roll around in the dust. Then you can cover the opening and put them back in. Stay with us for the next segment and we are going to talk a little bit about where to find a Chinchilla."
