"The last note of our B flat major scale is the note A. Let's look at A on the staff. To play a A on the flute we use 1st, 2nd, and thumb keys of the left hand and we use the pinkie key of the right hand. Let's hear how it sounds. Let's review the fingers on the flute. We have 1,2, and thumb and pinkie in the right hand for A. going over our scale from the beginning we have B flat to C whole step. C to D whole step. D to E flat half step. E flat to F whole step. F to G whole step. G to A whole step. A was our last note. Let's hear from the beginning. To finish this scale the last note we would add would be B flat which is the same pentatonic the same as the first note. "
