"SHAUN SCHAEFER: Hi, I'm Shaun Schaefer on behalf of Expert Village. And today, we're going to learn how to set up a drum kit. After setting up the rack tom stand and the snare drum stand, now it's time to actually put the drums on those stands. Now, I start with the rack tom. It's because if I set up the snare drum first then I can't get to this stand with this drum as easily. So you put in the arms, just line it up and then you tighten. And this is to prevent the drum from coming off the stand. So I can actually physically pick up this drum and the stand comes with it. So that's nice and tight. After we get the rack tom set up, now it's time to set up the snare drum. The same concept as before, we just put it on the little arms, and then there should be a little screw underneath here and you just tighten it. And the same thing applies. I should be able to lift this up and lift the stand up as well. So we know that's good and tight. It's not exactly perfectly set up yet, but that's okay. We're going to get to that in a second."
