"One of my favorite John Hurt songs is one called "Sliding Delta." And, it's because it has some interesting note additions but, it kind of has this really interesting kind of rhythmic turnaround that kind of makes it sort of skip a beat. So, "Sliding Delta" kind of goes like this. Let's see. It starts in E. So it's basically just E, A and then that's the like a B7. I guess it's a B-flat 7 actually. No, it's a B7. B7. Okay, so "Sliding Delta," goes E, A, B7. So, it's, so to me, the thing that makes this progression really special is kind of that extra little kind of turnaround on the A right here. So at first it goes, then it does that again. That was the little kind of double turnaround on the A that I think is really cool on this. Here it goes, right here. Kind of gives the song kind of a feeling like it's skipping a beat sort of or maybe not skipping one, but adding one here. One more time. Yeah."
