"Hello my name is Scott Soller, Yoga Instructor. And I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. The next post we'll do is an inversion. Chin tucked, on the exhale we'll roll back onto shoulders. The hands come to the hips, hips to hands. On the upper portions of the shoulder blades. Now make sure that if you have glaucoma, or detached or torn retina, you do not do the inversions. You want to protect those areas. Check with your doctor. You want to relax into the belly. This is your abdominal breathing default mode. Soft belly. Hear the air swirling in the back of the throat, and slowly bring the knees over the eyes, into the plow. Keep the shoulders strong and the neck protected. You can reach up and plant the toes into the hands to protect your neck. To release the pose, you can bend the knees to soften the back, take the legs down. Relax the arms to the side of the hips."
