"Hi, my name is Cindy Mastry with Yoga Etc. Studio on behalf of Expert Village. This is Willie and he's going to help me demonstrate the sage twist. He's going to start out in dandasana and he's going to lengthen up from his tail bone to the crown of the head. He's going to press his shins into the ground and he's going to pull his toes towards his knees. (Good) He's going to take his right foot and he's going to bend it right knee and he's going to bring his heel as close to his sits bone as he can still maintaining that nice long spine. He's going to reach his right arm up to the sky and he's going to reach right around to his left pinkie toe just to lengthen out through the side body and then he's going to bend his right elbow, take his right arm around on the outside of his right knee. (Good) He's going to inhale lengthening out through the left arm, reaching all the way around and there he's going to bind clasping his hands. Still lengthening up, inhaling in and as he exhales he comes into the rotation. He wants to keep that front leg flexed at the thigh and flexed at the foot. (Good, thank you Willie) That was the sage twist."
