"Hi! my name is Cindy Mastry with Yoga Etc. Studio on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip were going to demonstrate a half lotus to a crane balance. This is April and she is going to help me demonstrate the move. She's going to stand nice and tall in her todasna and ground herself and center, she's going to lift her right ankle and cross it over her left knee allowing her thigh to open out into a modified half lotus. She's going to inhale in and as she exhales she's going to come forward taking her hands forward and spreading her fingers wide she's going to hook her little toe around the upper part of her arm and then she's going to lift her back foot coming into the crane balance. So, she needs to be sure to look forward and lengthen from the crown of the head all the way to the tail and then if, she would like she can extend that leg long press through her toes and squeeze through her thigh. "beautiful April, good!" and then she's going to come out of it in the exact same way that she came in and lower down and re-center in her mountain pose and that's the tree with crane balance with optional leg extension."
