"Hi, my name is Cindy Mastry with Yoga Etc. Studio on behalf of Expert Village. This is April and she's going to help me demonstrate in this clip the side arm balance. April is going to start in mountain pose. She's going to inhale and extend her arms up to the sky and then she's going to fold forward into a forward fold. Good! She's going to walk her hands forward on the inhale and as she exhales she's going to press into plank position. One line of energy from the crown of the head to the back of the heels. She's going to shift her weight over to her left arm and stack her feet one on top of the other as she extends her arm up to the sky. So she's going to press down into the earth with her left arm as she reaches up and opens up through her heart. Now to take this to a different level she's going to grab onto the toe and extend the leg up to the sky. Beautiful! Still opening the heart, lifting up through the underneath side of the waist and pressing into the side of the foot. Beautiful and she comes right back out of it the same way she went in. That's the side arm balance. "
