"Now that we've completed the Form 1040EZ, we simply need to mail the return back to the proper tax office. Usually you'll get a tax booklet every year with your forms and instructions, and when you use this, and if you decide to mail the paper forms in, you need to make sure your return is sent by April 15th of 2008. You also have an option, and may decide just to do E-file, which allows you to file for free if you're making $54,000 or less on your adjusted gross income. It's fast, easy, and safe. It's available in English and Spanish. It's accessible on line twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. If you do decide to use the IRS E-file, there are three ways to do this. You can do it yourself, which you just need a computer with internet access, in an IRS approved preparation software, which is available on the internet for on line use. You can download that easily, or you can actually buy your own from a retail store. The second way is to use a volunteer, and there's a volunteer program that offers tax help for low to moderate income taxpayers, and there's also help to those people ages 60 and older. Or you can use a tax professional, and they can handle these returns for you and E-file your tax return as well. You just need to ask when you decide to use a tax professional, that they will do that. The benefit of doing this, is it can speed your refund faster than if you mail your tax return in, and you get an email proof of receipt within 48 hours after you file, and there's less of a chance for making mistakes since the IRS automatically calculates and automatically figures the calculations on your tax and does that check for you. You can sign your return electronically, with the self selected secure pin number. If you owe money, you can authorize payment by electronic funds withdrawal, or pay by credit card. So there are two fast and easy ways you can file your return. If you choose to mail your forms, make sure you get it sent off before April 15th."
