" Hi! I am Dr. Adrienne Mulligan and I am the owner of Camp Verde Veterinary Clinic and I am here today on behalf of expertvillage.com to talk to you about cat first aid and administration of medications. There are new products on the market like Epikatin or Epikitin that is a powder that you scoop on to little other food. It is supposed to be very palatable, so it helps these kitties who do not feel like eating, helps them eat better and do a little better and it also lowers those toxins in their bloodstream and then the third thing is to teach your client to help give the cat fluids under their skin or parentally we say someway besides orally because you generally have to get more water into them than the cat will drink in a day, so that is just a little information on that, just something to be aware of. Your cat is losing weight and they are older, go to the vet, get some blood work done, because it may be a disease that you can help them feel a lot better and they can live a long life as long as they get those things that the kidneys are supposed to do taking care of by other means."
