"All right, so lets talk about the basic cups and balls routine. If you buy a basic plastic set of cups and balls this is pretty close to the routine, you’re going to get in the instructions but I want to give you a couple of other little ideas. You’ve got your three little balls and most of the time, these will come with these little pom-pom things. So, those are fine they work well. You’re going to have your three cups and then there’s an extra ball. Now we put the extra ball in the center cup. Now there’s a subtlety that you can do, where you drop the cup and place it down, the ball will fall out but, but you can put the cup down faster. So the idea is, this cup’s empty, you can take this one, with the ball in it, put it on top there and then this one. So if you do that right, it looks like you have three empty cups, even though this one has a ball on top of it. So you do the same thing, but this time you lay them out in a row, and your extra balls here. Okay, so the way that we’re doing that is we’re holding the cups mouth up, we’re taking them off the bottom of the stack and laying them down in a row. Then we’re going to take a ball and place it on top we cover it up with both cups, we give it a snap, and it will penetrate through. The same thing happens again, we can place this cup aside, cover this up, this one has the extra ball in it, just like that. Now we’ll going to put another ball on top and just for variety, we’re only going to cover it up with one cup and we’ll give it a snap and it goes right through. One more time, we’re going to take the cup with the extra ball, place it over the other two. We can even place this cup aside now, take this ball, and place it in the pocket. And then we give it a little snap and it jumps underneath to join its friends and that’s a really good basic cups and balls routine that you can use to entertain people. "
