"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Safi Thomas form the Hip Hop Dance Conservatory. These are our dancers and we are based here in NYC and we're going to show you how to lock. As Don Campbell started to develop his style and develop the art form of locking, what ended up happening is he started to actually codify those movements or make an explanation of what those movements are. So locking in general in very lament terms, is just a joint isolation that's all they are is various joint isolations being done to specific parts within the music. It develops a style that is very fun very laid back. Locking is always very very happy very laid back very fun. Or you can be angry when you lock as well it can cover entire, you don't have to have a specific emotion when you're doing locking. Locking is pretty much about you and how you develop it and develop those isolations so we're going to start in the next clip with how to lock."
