"Welcome back to Expert Village my name is Alisha. Let's continue to talk about child proofing a pool. Another safety tip is to alway keep glassware away from the pool edges or even in your pool area. They can fall and get broken and someone could easily step on the glass. Always just keep plastic cups in the pool area. This way if falls in the pool nothing is going to break and get injured. Another thing you want to keep in mind if you have a music playing out by your pool. Always make sure you keep the music volume turned down low enough so you can always hear children at all times out of the pool. Also in most local hardware stores you can install outlet covers. This keeps kids from playing with them especially with wet fingers. This would keep it lock and actually have a spot where you lock it, securely with a padlock. This keeps kids from getting electrocuted. You also want to think about other entry points into your back yard. Who knows what neighbor could easily walk into your back yard so always make sure to keep your gates closed and locked to prevent neighbor kids from getting in. Another great thing to have just in case neighborhood kids get in is a pool camera and let me show you that. With a back yard camera it is great because even if you are not near the pool you can easily see if someone is in the back yard or remotely near the pool. This is a great safety feature just in case someone does jump the fence. "
