"Welcome back to Expert Village and my name is Alisha. Let's continue and talk about child proofing a pool. Another thing you want to keep in mind are larger objects on the side of the pool. You may think this potted plant isn't anything that could hurt anybody. But if a child is struggling to try to get out of the water, they may grab a hold of it and it may fall in on them in the pool. Another object is a cool chest. We always want to have something nice and cool to drink right next to use in the pool but this also could be pulled in on a child. Always remember to keep all electrical objects away from the pool. One electrical current could just be very hazardous, so always keep things secure and away. If something does need to be plugged in make, sure it is far enough from the pool. Alright another safety items to have around the pool are these handy handles. This is for the wall that is too high for a child to get out of. They are able to at least hold on to something so they can at least calm down, relax and try to get some help or even being able to rest enough to crawl out of the pool from the stairs. Most pools would also have two forms of exits involving stairs on both sides of the pool. This makes it for a child on either side of the pool can exist the pool."
